Not strictly today - I've been back a few days - but I have been riding around the Vosges Mountains in France.
Some of the best roads I have ridden, sod all traffic, stunning scenery and no potholes!

    Splendid!

Gave the LT a full wash, brush up and tank of fuel today so she is ready for a coating of FS365 at the weekend. Just the oil and tyre pressure to check prior to the Germany trip. Hadn't ridden it for a few weeks as the Speedmaster has had my attention... wow what a pullimg machine this bike is. Only eleven days to go!

Not really what I’ve done to my Trumpy, but what it’s done to me! I’ve got the sick bad, as I’ve found this project that I might pick up. Owner rode it till he started taking it apart as a project and now doesn’t feel like messing with it. Possibly a ‘70. I haven’t seen it in person yet but my inclination by the pics is to do the mechanicals, change out anything grossly wrong and leave it a bit sweaty around the edges. What do you guys and gals think?

Got some more pics of the possible new project. Evidently it’s a 1971 Bonneville T120 RV. One of a limited import of around a thousand sent to the US as an early 750cc with a 5 speed box. Looks like a solid start, and it was running rough with the Amal carbs so it has two new Mikuni carbs and a box full of parts to go with it. Frame is freshly painted British racing green, but the tins need some paint. I’m thinking maybe...
    Black? o_O

    First time in here...
After doing 375 km on my new Street Twin (I've had it six days), I decided to check the chain slack before leaving for work this morning. So I adjusted it there and then to bring it back in to the 20 to 30 mm range.
Also, having read up here and elsewhere about the virtues of ACF-50, I ordered some from a Trade Me seller (NZ's own ebay type thing) and that arrived for me today.

Looks like I’ll be bringing it home in the next couple weeks, the deals pretty much done. I’ll start a thread on it as soon as it rolls in the door. I’ll be relying heavily on some help and advice as I go, most of which I fully expect to be a load of sh!te. I’d be disappointed in everyone if it were otherwise!
