Had a great day riding the mountains after nearly two weeks of daily rain. Clocked over 350 miles today, that’s the longest day I’ve had so far. Even with the drier weather I still got caught in a quick downpour twice today, but everything dries out eventually
After a good scrub I added these little baubles just for fun. Also, it seems I’m wearing my front tire much faster than the back. I run almost no highway miles, all curves, so don’t know if that’s normal or not.
I check before each ride, using the recommended pressures in my manual. 36 psi rear and 32 front, so don’t really know where to go from there.
Due to almost no straight road miles I don’t have even a hint of a flat spot on the back tire after over 3k miles, so I’d say the front is getting a good thrashing!
Loaded up the Exploder and set off to Ashford for an overnight before hitting the Chunnel at 7 in the morning.
Had a little ride over the old Severn bridge, up the Wye Valley road to Monmouth and then back down the B4293. Followed a Tiger for a few miles taking it easy well within the speed limits. Was a tad warm but enjoyable nonetheless
As per previous post, rode to Thruxton yesterday for the BSB, massive crowd and great racing topped off with the ride home, weekends don't come much better
Had a run around Scotland yesterday with Lou on his new bike, picture was taken at the Campsie Fells on the "Crow road" B822 you will struggle to find a twistier road anywhere in Scotland

Dont worry Dilli you can always listen to mine again There's loud ones out there to fit hopefully or a way to make yours Fit Cant have you been quiet all the time, you need to be loud when not camped next to me or in the next field
Testing day! Tested my patience lol about 10 times ! New caliper for the Daytona 1000 tightens up a treat, works far too well though as once its grabbed the disc it wont bloody let go lol. Spent ages trying to free it up. See how it is in the morning. Also had the Thermostat out to double check that works ok which it does. New coolant while I was at it.
NUDGERS staying as he is mate Not gonna be throwing money at him but if the cocktail shakers had been able to go on I would have fitted them
Could make them fit but it would involve cutting the silencers off at the pipes exiting the catalytic converter Nope.....ain’t happening
