West Bay looking good. Broad church was largely based here - familiar anyone? Strangely for a quaint fishing town there is a branch of Helmet City on the quayside.
West bay is one of my fav destinations, I usually do a loop via Yeovil on the way there and the coastal road towards Weymouth on the way back then cut up to Dorchester/Blandford, love it.
New set of tyres gone on as the Super Corsa's got obliterated on the Spanish trip last week, the front was the original & covered 5,400 miles from new but was missing quite a bit of tread pattern by the time I got back, the rear had done 2,400 miles & would have done another 200 at most, but at least the wear was across the whole tyre due to those excellent roads! I went for a pair of Michelin Power RS's, ride in ride out price at Pro-tyre Micheldever was £269 ant there is a £30 cash back coming my way as there is a promotion on pairs at the moment. It's too soon for any comparisons between the two sets tyres but was impressed with how they performed on a couple of mates bike while in Spain, Dave had the Michelin's on his BMW 1000RR & said they gripped very well & his rear lasted 4,000 miles. That said the Super Corsa's on mine gave unbelievable levels of grip whilst cranked over and accelerating hard out of corners, also when I did cock up & run in a little hot at least I still had the confidence to turn in anyway.
Out on the speedmaster, called at J&S in Delemare and had a chat with one of Littleade’s mates... Ollie says hi Ade. Wessa
Took a little spin to Wiltshire on my 765, beautiful day to ride and stuning countryside to enjoy while doing it!
Avebury for the Prehistoric stuff, although had a nose around RAF Greenham Common and Donnington Castle too
I did 150 kms bimbling round the countryside and it's small villages, it was just beautiful in the 28° sunshine.
Broke the fuel pipe fitting on the tank. Doh! Thought I was going to have more days waiting for parts to arrive but then remembered I still had the old fuel pump plate complete with the fittings! So swapped new pump onto old plate and hey presto! I will get some new fittings though and change them over. Fitted my intercom too, an Autocom Pro-7 Sport. Only thing is I can't get Siri to work through it. Any ideas anyone?
Good point. I'll try that although it seems I may have a problem with the mic as when I make call the other person can't hear me!
