Sat in the sunshine at my local dealers while they wire in my satnav mount. Once done a good clean polish early next week and will be ready for Wales.... Wessa
I had to go to Aberdeen to sit in the classroom, so I took the bike, and got a 100 miles commute paid for.
It is! I wasn't heading out that way originally, but ended up coming across from Harold thorugh Turvey, Laverndon, Yardley Hastings, and then through the grounds. Haven't been to Castle Ashby for years.
Doris got an oil and filter change today, don’t think she really needed one, oil was good and clean. Was going to give her a wash but it started raining!!!!!
Not on the bike but couldn't resist sharing, drove down to the Eden project early on Tuesday morning with my lad and his mate for a gig in the evening, spent the day exploring which was very interesting, went on the cracking zipwire there, had something to eat, met some of the band who were mooching before getting into the venue for a great spot on the safety barrier in front the stage, me and my lad have been trying to get to see Queens of the stone age for two or three years but something always cropped up, it was worth the wait though cos they were awesome.
Oh yes, he was there, he is Mr Queen's of the stone age, he walked past us when we were chilling before the gig, noticed our band t-shirts and said "hi guys, how's it going" quite a moment to cherish.
It was indeed, we also got to speak to and shake hands with the bassist and lead guitarist, not many gigs you get the chance to do that.
You were very fortunate there! I have had the privilege of meet and greeting Mick Taylor in Amsterdam years ago - very special.
The bonnie is getting an oil change this weekend along with a chain clean, lube and adjustment. No rain I hope!
Out early this morning for a trip down to Dorset. Meeting my brother at West Bay sometime later. First stop breakfast. They were nice baps!
