Glad you kept it upright mate, I too had a moment yesterday, following a brake happy transit driver through a crappy bit of B road, gave him space but went round a sharp left and he's stopped dead, instinctively grabbed a handful of front brake and blessed my good luck of buying a Speedy with ABS, I'm sure it saved me from ending up on my arse.
When you pick up a bit of oil or chainlube on the tires what do you use to clean them with? I’d think many degreasers or solvents would damage the rubber.
Short ride over to Hot Springs, North Carolina. Evidently they do have hot springs in the area and spas and such have operated there for ages. Did have one tw@t in a pickup roll through a stop and pull right out in front of me. I saw him and knew probably before he did that he was going to do it, sometimes you just know. He then has the nerve to slow down and let me pass him as he’s trying to apologize. I will not repeat what I said, but let’s just say apology was not accepted!
Hello buddy I use.... SDoc100 Motorcycle Gel Cleaner Scrub off with decent sponge And wash it off with clean water Chain.... I use paraffin to clean... Then use SDoc100 to wash off the paraffin n lube it with either BluTac or Wurth dry lube. The lube I use never flings any crap on the wheels. Well that's what I think
Had a ride out this morning to the Moray Coast in beautiful weather for a bike ride. From Nairn to Lossiemouth then back through Hopeman and Burghead and home in time for the F1.
Where's the brown sauce??? Why would you spoil good fish and chips with vinegar, it's OK for pickled onions
Heading down to Dom’s bike stop for a lunch stop then oxford, final push as I’ve worn them inside out backwards and upside down, time to go home I think!
So just your regular bike wash on the tires, then? I use the Mucoff wash and dry chainlube. Seems to be pretty much mess free unless I am careless and get overspray on the tire. Just have to work around the exhaust can. One reason I’m thinking about the shotgun exhaust from bc is to just get it out of the way for maintenance!
