Can anyone help me find the discussion on tubes losing air .. was reading it recently.. but ???
Hadn't ridden the T120 (2016) for around a month and discovered 20 Ib in the rear, and 9 Ib  in the front !!!!

Apparently not unusual, but there was some interesting stuff about this problem .. and what to chuck in the rubbish ? :D

I have to disagree with you on this one, @Mrs Visor! I'd take cruise control any day. Perhaps that's because I'm older than you and my hands and wrists are starting to give me problems. I use it on many roads in addition to freeways which I also avoid like the plague. Oh yeah, and maybe it's also because I live in the desert where it's hot about eight months out of the year. ;):joy:

Your preference is quite understandable @Sandi T when you also factor in the style of roads common to each country.
UK, cruise control might be handy, now and again, but we are a small island and the roads are twisty in comparison.

I use my CC in 30mph limits, on my BMW Rt, near me there is a village thats about 1 mile long, 30 all the way but looks like a 40 or more as very few houses beside the road, go to place for speed traps as well.....

I use my heated grips an awful lot . It's hot for about eight days of the year here, rather than months :p. The roads around me are also pretty twisty so cruise control would likely not get used much at all. Horses for courses :kissing_heart:.

It's an absolute devil to get pheasant fat and guts out of though . That said, an Evotech radiator guard means that I still had a radiator post pheasant incident and they do look good!!

Changes. My T120 had the Triumph bar end mirrors added by the previous owner. Initially, thought that they didn't exactly fit with my vision of the bike. He had sold the standard mirrors, but I found a pair on ebay for $75. I ordered the mounting hardware and end caps. While waiting on the parts to arrive, the bar end mirrors began to grow on me. The function is so much better than the Oberon bar end mirrors on my R9T, which I have found practically useless. Anyway, after installing my heated grips, I decided to install the lollipops. It really is a simple swap and takes about 10 minutes.

I like the looks of both. I took the bike out riding afterward and found the upright mirrors functional, easy to adjust. I think both sets work great for me. The bar end sets give a slightly wider few and can be angled more directly behind me, but do require a more side/downward glance to use. The lollipops, with less width, provides a slightly higher position, so easy glance to use, but can't see as well directly behind me.

So, will give these a go and now that I have both sets, can easily swap at any time.

Levis or Wranglers? English muffin or toast? Crunchy vs. smooth?

    WTF?

    IMG_3934.jpeg

When I purchased the bike, I was skeptical about the bar end mirrors because of my disappointment with the Oberon's on my R9T. However, these Triumph mirrors function really well. No vibration and good visibility.
I think they are perfect for the Thruxton, but maybe don't match the esthetics of the T120.

I sourced these used on ebay and just needed a bit of cleaning up. A few bits of hardware to fit them and... voila.

Levis, English muffin. And definitely crunchy (especially on an English muffin). :)

It is interesting Sandi because I think the US are the only people who eat English muffins ;)

Yesterday I set out earIy and did about 200 miles getting some stamps in my Bike and Brew Passport, meaning that I finally visited Gilks for the first time, having been meaning to for ages. I only had a coffee but it was very nice and the place seemed very friendly....you do have to negotiate a roundabout near there which does its level best to get everyone onto the M40 but thankfully managed not to get drawn in :p. I was blessed with the weather because I rode through a lot of standing water but managed to miss the rain.

After my ride I went to a friend's BBQ at their business premises which was also lovely and then went home and watched the Moto GP :).

All of the bikes, all of the time.

I rode Bend to Portland and back today and checked out the Royal Enfield Classic 350 today. The weather could not have been much better. I left Bend in sunny weather, mid 40's F and over Santiam Pass in dry and beautiful conditions. Yes... riding weather is finally here in central Oregon. I took the Silverton exit to avoid I-5 from Salem to Portland. What a ride across that farm land, past the Oregon Gardens and gorgeous ride into Oregon City. Made it to Portland mid-day and met the fine folks at Sabatino Motorcycles. Signed the usual forms and got the Classic 350 out for a test ride.

Classic 350 in Halcyon Gray. RE certainly tics the heritage boxes.

These colors! The Halcyon Gray is actually a very pale blue. The darker paint stripe is really a brown, The off white center has a yellowish tint and the the RE print is in a deep red. I could not have envisioned this, but it is indeed classic.

Mudguards galore! And, that headlamp cap is a stunner.
    IMG_3967.jpeg

I dig the looks of the fork covers, the mudguard paint scheme and those small running lights at the 11 o'clock, 1 o'clock positions around the headlight.

Stopping for a coffee at Rosie's this morning on Paws.

I'm heading to Eugene next weekend to talk with them about their BSA 650 Goldstar. I may get another small bike in my garage yet!
