Good choice Wessa. I have a Speed Twin (obviously with squeaky brakes too), but your story reminds me when I almost bought a Tiger Sport nearly 3 years ago. I couldn't make my mind up between a Tiger Sport and a Ducati Multistrada 950. In the end after many test rides and scratching my head, I rode the Tiger Sport back to back with the Ducati Multistrada. I eventually decided on the Ducati, but it was a close call. Before anybody asks, nothing has gone wrong with the Ducati in 3 years of ownership, and come March 2020 I will be upgrading it to a Multistrada 950s, which has moved the game on significantly. Anyways, its nearly Wednesday.... enjoy collecting your Tiger Sport. I hope you ordered heated grips!!!

Well bit of a sad day today, the speed twin went back to the dealers today. Just waiting on a delivery date for the tiger sport. Can't wait, love getting to know a new bike.

Did she squeal when she reached the front of the van and and you applied the brake for the last time?

Don't remember Wessa ever declaring his undying love for his bike like you did for Nudger just a few short months ago , I predicted you would have your head turned even back then when you was in denial (no that ain't a river in Egypt before you ask!). :broken_heart:

Well trip to the dealers to collect the tiger sport. Panniers and satnav on back order, but should be here next week. Came straight home to avoid the rain. I will give it a coat if ACF50 tomorrow and give it a longer introduction. First impression are very good.

Thanks. Yep the top box is bigger that I expected, but I will only use it for touring. Yep I will be taking it to the GMU and also on the forum Spain trip in September next year. I will also be going away with my brother-in-law for a trip (yet to be planned) sometime in the summer. And of course there are lots of days for ride outs to be experienced. Once I get the panniers I will take some better pictures of the bike fully dressed.

I swapped my second Tiger Sport for a Speed Twin this year. The TS is a great bike and I loved both of them to bits, but a lifetime of kneeling in wet concrete and moving heavy weights in the construction industry has left me with weak and unreliable knees and elbows. The STwin is much easier to move around while parking etc. The brake issue was a bit of a nuisance, but all is well now and 6000 miles is not far away. Enjoy your new wheels!

Cheers mate. Like you I think the speed twin is a great bike, but I just could not get by with the problem with the brakes. I have no doubt that triumph will fix it, but for now I'm going to enjoy the tiger.

Yep that is one big box.... yep lowering kit and low seat fitted, no problems even for a short arse like me. I’m well pleased with bike. Weather looks ok for tomorrow, so I’m going for a good ride....
