Cheers and you're right, most of these are very well used, it took me a while before this one came up and I bought it the same day it was listed without even going to see it. The sale of this will cover most of the gap between the trade in of the Ducati on the new Thruxton RS.

That's just the graphic, not the tank. They were a total bastard to get on, if it wasn't for green laning I'd have replaced them but they serve the purpose which is to protect the plastics from scratches. £70 to replace the whole kit.

Hi, yep, I have fitted paint protection as you mention, my Ducati has the full kit. I didn't bother with this one as the tank part is full of perforations and so I thought I wouldn't need to. Weirdly all the non-perforated bits went on fine - dry. The instructions also didn't mention using a solution either. Lesson learned. I wasn't that bothered tbh as its a cheap kit and it is protecting the plastics. I only replaced the original one because the last owner had peeled part of the tank graphic off and I wanted to protect the tank from abrasion. The next owner can do it, I can't be arsed, in the flesh it's immediately obvious that it's the graphic and not the tank. This has been handy though as I will mention it in the add. Cheers.

Can't believe how much extra cr@p there is for the ABS system on the ZX10R...
I'm guessing it's similar with the ABS on My Street RS
With the clean air stuff and carbon canister etc, I've already taken a box full of bits off the ZX.
And I still haven't got to the exhaust yet!

That's pretty cool, @JtC! And a cool finished product. :) What's the deal? Is it sort of like a puzzle with metal pieces?

Nice 100 mile ride out in Rutland and Leicestershire today on the GS.

Dry, and back before it got too nippy.

Countryside is so beautiful even at this time of year.

In fact, often because you can see through the trees and hedges have been cut, the views are often better.

Yeah and you can get absolutely anything from guitars, cars, star Wars ships/deathstar, airplanes, etc. you name it. You put them together with tweezers, patience, and a steady hand. It's a miracle I got it done, now that I think of it. Haha

If you enlarge the photos you can see that they are SW- Motech. Not sure of the model though.

    Lovely pics @DCS222
Where did you ride? I always liked the Parkermoor ride to enjoy the view over Coniston.

We parked in Low Dale Park; up Blind Lane staying on the east side of the forest; up the single track to the east of Grizedale tarn and along to the Fox; down the little bridleway then up to Moor Top, stayed in that forest side and looped back to the Fox on fire track; up and over the fire track to grizedale tarn; then back along to Blind Lane.

My daughter enjoys riding, but isn’t into technical descents really (a few too many ground interfaces) there isn’t much of the forest I haven’t ridden, except some of the new “sneaky trails” that have popped up over the last few years

Sounds like a lovely day out! Not been mtbing for a couple of years now as I developed a cataract which ruined any chance of picking a line! Lost all confidence now but used to love it.
