I had one as a courtesy bike once. Hilarious thing, it jiggled around at idle like a fat bird on one of those vibrating exercise plates
Nice bimble round bits of Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire, including a cuppa at a roadside tea hut. For 'non-essential' ride since lockdown - second one planned for tomorrow DS
Well i hate to say i looked at the Daytona this morning & just couldnt be ars£d to do owt to it So i took this out instead. Passed its MOT & went for a gentle pootle about enjoying a bit of freedom & the countryside, which im sure all of us are!!!!
Zoom.in there's a tree on the left.Seriously there are some very wooded areas in the New Forest, and ponys, pigs, horses, and donkeys, cows roam free!
Had a little ride round the Peak District this afternoon. Picked up a steak pie from a bakery in Stalybridge, wedged it in front of the handlebars, then rode on for about six or seven miles to a lay-by. The pie was lukewarm but by 'eck it wur reet gud. You can see the bag containing the pie in the first picture. Did about eighty odd miles and finished up having tea and biscuits at a mates house (2m apart of course) haven't seen him since before lockdown.
Agree New Forest is a great place to bimble around in. Took my CB1100 out for one such short bimble on Wednesday (Bashley/Brockenhurst/Sway) - first time out on it for about 10 weeks.
I got the bike on the road today and out for a 5 mile run for the first time since I bought the bike 3 1/2 years ago. I am very pleased with the way it ran and still have enough things need doing to keep me busy. It runs, idles, pulls, changes gears well and the other systems are operational too.
