I traded in my victory cross country for something a bit faster 2013 ninja 1000. It's pretty zippy. I decided I didn't need two touring bikes. If I'm going to go on a long ride, I'm going to take the tiger. I wanted something a bit more nimble than the 900 pound victory for shorter rides, and such. This should fit the bill nicely.
i was going to have a day off the bike and watch the MotoGP but at the end of Moto 3 my brother in law phoned and asked if i wanted a run up to Braemar, it was a lovely day so it would have been rude to say no! once we got up to Braemar we decided to keep going we turned onto the south Deeside Rd at Ballater and then took the Cairn O Mount Rd then onto Montrose for a chippie T before heading home Brother in laws bike up the cairn o Mount
Just got back from a 2-up tour from home->Plymouth->Ferry to Santander->Santiago de Compostela->Lon->Pamplona->Marmande->Le Blanc->Caen->Ferry to Portsmouth->Home on my new Royal Enfield meteor 350. Total around 2000 miles. There were some low times, lots of heat, some rain but also some great roads. The bike never missed a beat and I was so glad I chose to take it instead of my Trophy 1200/4, especially when my navigation app decided that a steep cart track was a road or when villagers had decided to dig up their road and it was now a gravel hill....
It'll be the Tracer Wim. That's the one I use for touring with it's panniers. If I came on the Kwacker I'd have to wear the same clothes all the time.
