whilst on a trip in Ireland last week I got a puncture in my back tyre. It was beyond a roadside fix so we managed to bodge it with tyre weld, sticky string, glue etc. One of the lads googled a nearby independent motorcycle garage. We rang and they had a tyre and would wait for us to get there.
The owner Ivan could not have been more helpful, there are very few people like him around anymore. Fantastic service with wit, stories of road racing, Anecdotes of racers past and present. A lovely helpful gentlemen and if you ever need help in that area he is definitely your man. If I lived there he would get all my bike work. Saved my trip. Thanks Ivan.

I don't know if it's a biker thing, but l bet we've all got a similar tale to tell. Our adversity seems to bring out the best in people. But the truth is, if the boot were on the other foot, chances are you'd do the same. :)

Good biker story - I see he's a Hyosung dealer - I used to have one, the 650GT copy of a Suzuki SV650. It was a good bike..... had it for 5 years..... only broke down once. :joy:
