    Part 1:
Today I came back from another weekend in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In total I have been on the road this time just under 2,000 km. I met my wife and her Tiger 900 at our accommodation in Glodnica, about 1:15 hours drive and 70 km southwest of Sarajevo. My journey there was 797 km and 8:30 hours of driving. From there, we planned to take a two-hour tour the next day to Medugorje, an unofficial Catholic pilgrimage site that has existed since 1981 due to an apparition of Mary, and to Mostar, known for its reconstructed medieval arched bridge.
But this day had it all.
I had driven a nail into my rear tire somewhere on the way to Glodnica. So we had to have a tire repair at the local vulcanizer. After 30 minutes, everything was fine and we could ride off.

The route was a beautiful motorcycle route with incredible views of the landscape. In Medugorje we admired the Christian hustle and bustle and marveled at the structural facilities.

After this cultural highlight, we needed a little caffeine boost. In a tourist pub we enjoyed a good coffee and then, strengthened, we drove before the direct way to the old town of Mostar (30 km) on the nearby mountain Hum and admired the monument there and the view of Mostar. During the 1992-1995 war, the city was shelled from there.

After that we drove to the old town of Mostar. As soon as we found a place to park our bikes, my wife turned pale with fright and frantically searched through all her clothes. She had left her wallet with numerous IDs and credit cards in the restaurant in Medugorje. An immediate telephone inquiry unfortunately remained unanswered and so we set off again for Medugorje without having achieved anything. But this time, my wife's lead vehicle, the red Tiger 900, almost became a time machine!!! With unbelievable speed, almost like "The Flash", she set an enormous racing pace on the 30 kilometer route over the small mountain roads. After I was not allowed to tear off, we "beamed" us downright with our bikes through the landscape. Hardly arrived in Medugorje the joy was great, because the waiter, who had served us, had secured the wallet and this my wife gladly returned. We wanted to show our gratitude apart from our thanks also with a finder's reward, but this was rejected by him.
With clearly lower speed we rode then for the 2nd time to Mostar.

Similar to Venice, there are crowds here that overcrowd the old town. But since the weather played a trick on us, we fled after a short time into a restaurant and strengthened us another time. Tip for all those who want to take a photo of the bridge: Go to a terrace restaurant. From there you have the best view of the bridge!
Since a thunderstorm announced itself we stayed quite short and started the return journey to our quarters. But the weather was faster! Within minutes all streets turned into channels with water depths of 10-15 cm and we would have gladly exchanged our bikes for boats and the motorcycle clothing for diving gear. Unbelievable masses of water came down from the sky in the Mostar area. Arrived at the quarters we enjoyed a cup of hot tea and a warm soup.
The next day we drove to Scit and there to Ramsko reservoir. Incredible landscapes and views can be found there. At the end of the weekend we enjoyed the local cuisine. It was again a wonderful weekend!

@Wessa: The time between was not so easy to handle.:p
@Mrs Visor: Warp speed with a Tiger is a challenge in comparison to your bike;)

@Vulpes: Because of the low water level it is not possible this summer!
