I was watching the news on TV and saw an interesting story. Seems as though the air quality in the larger cities over here, have improved. It's amazing that this was achieved in such a short amount of time. The sudden turn of events, being the amount of cars on the road, have cleaned up the air in Los Angeles, as well as other of our largest cities. Also, being an animal lover, I also saw a story about animals coming into populated areas. What with so many of us under house arrest! Seems like we don't have to look far to find something good happening, all over the world!
Yes Ade, I saw the Himalayas from my house last night too. The missus said I'd drank too much. Pah, what does she know eh ?
This could continue. It certainty is not hurting the environment. The air is clean and clear. Maybe this will give the earth a chance to catch up..Being isolated this long IS making me a bit crazy though. Not posting as much. Need to edit my thoughts more now that I am alone with myself so much. ...J.D.
IF it only takes this short a time to clear so much air pollution, so, when we get back to “Normal” will the pollution not keep compounding and overwhelm us? And, why did it not before? Do you get to a 100% pollution saturation level, and was that what we had before? Ken.
Have been doing some video conferencing with the local friends. It helps but it is not the same as being together. ...J.D.
