The great British public, arent they wonderful? After checking if walking my dogs is allowed / acceptable during lockdown, i go to the park at the end of the road. Whats the first thing i see, some fucking moron using the exercise machines. As i walk round, 10 minutes later i get to him so i say to him "Excuse me but that is definitely one thing you shouldnt be doing", Fuckwit "what?", Me "Using outdoor gym equipment", Fuckwit "i didnt think it was gym equipment, i just though it was equipment. Besides i got these on *shows me some wooly gloves* and im not near any body", Me "the guidelines say you shouldnt be using it and that equipment is now a virus transmission surface for 72 hours", Fuckwit "i will call the council and see what they say"................

No surprise, but you do touch on a point we've been discussing. How the hell do you exercise a dog once a day? Not everyone has a back garden

Surely you can take the dog for a walk with you as part of your exercise as it is part of your household,

You can @crispey but according to the stipulations you may go out for exercise only once a day. That might put a few dogs and their owners in a bit of a spot. :)

Well boris didn’t say how long you could exercise for. So a 4 hour walk wouldn’t go amiss, not as if we’ve got anything better to do?
    *edit, and I haven’t got a dog!
Maybe start up a neighbourhood share a dog system!

The interesting thing about dogs may be feeding them.. Struggled like hell to get food for one week already.

Managed eventually to get a 15kg bag of dry food off amazon though. Yaay, amazon came through for once.

Exercise not a problem for me, I'm glad to say. I'm a lazy git.... :D. Naah, live in the wilds, so not an issue. Apart, that is, from all the fuggin idiot toffs all up here parked in the passing places and flogging the river with their fishing rods. Okay, they are more than 2 metres apart, but where are they staying, they ain't locals. Who's feeding them (they don't cook for themselves)

Watching the doom and gloom show last night, there was Alex Salmond, got off on his indecency charges, stood outside the court giving an interview. All his hangers on stood up close, and the reporters! Dozens of them, all rubbing shoulders and practically climbing over each other to get the best shots. (with a camera and mic, sadly)

    Social distancing my arse.

Yes, we just need to apply a common sense approach when doing so. Can't see a copper pulling you over for walking a dog with your household family.

If Corona wiped out a few of the gutter press I don't think there would be too many complaints as they don't give a stuff about anything other than themselves and a story.

My Father-in-law joins me most days to walk our dog. He lives opposite us (20m away)
But technically, he's still not a member of our household.
If he still joins me, are either of us irresponsible people for doing so? Or is it just an acceptable bit of rule bending?

BTW... That's a rhetorical question. We'll decide between us whether it's sensible or not.

Could wipe out a few of the politicos and their hangers on for me, too, to be honest. Don't need em, and wouldn't miss em.

According to the rules, if there is no one else there you are ok as there is only 2 of you.

The saying used to be “Fit as a butcher’s dog”.....now it’s “fit as a Covid dog”
