Whats your recommendations for tyre's on a 1600 thunderbird ? I personally rate Avon's but they don't do a front tyre in the Thunderbird size !! ( rear - 200/50/17 front - 120/70/19 )
That was my thought Gary, But having found an Avon tyre on ebay at an excellent price I enquired to see if he could supply or locate a front tyre to match, His reply was Avon dont make one in that size went on to say the only ones were Metzeler and Bridgestone, Just how far his info was correct, I dont know.
I run Metzeler, As TEZ 127 pointed out . I struggled to find another make to fit my T/Bird. I have to say they are OK .
Well info received was not correct as such Avon do a 120/70-19 60W ZR Avon Cobra AV71 But point made by seller stated it did not match his rear exactly , and it was out of stock at this time,
I was about to post up - they do name them different sometimes - Avon and others ! I just bought a 130/90 x 16 but they call it a MT90B16 !!!

Our current recommended fitment for your bike is- 120/70ZR19 Cobra 200/50ZR17 Storm 3D XM Or 200/55R17 Cobra. I hope this helps. Mine is a Triumph Thunderbird 900. The rear Tyre is 150/80/16 i don't think Avon has a tyre that size.

I take it, that's what you use on the GS ? Will suite the styling, although I doubt many GS's ever actually go further off-road than the golf club drive ???
