thanks for your help all done couldent find a map with my aftermarket high lever can so down loaded the one for the tor high level can will let you know if bikes running better once i put her back together . the map was for my vin number so hopfully she wont cut out now

When uploading a map to your ecu make sure you have a car battery or charger with descent output connected. If voltage drops too low upload will not complete, ....still potentially recoverable but you don't want to go there in the first place.
Also some of the other TuneEcu functions are only available via Android phone and Bluetooth connection.
Would highly recommend a thorough read at the help on TuneEcu site before you start.

 

Depends what bike you have, but some functions are only available via android and bluetooth (i.e. opening ABS valve for a full flush and bleed, or switching off the service indicator/spanner on instruments).
To use the bluetooth version you need one of these to plug into your bike, it then transmits (wireless) to your android phone with the TuneEcu app installed.
However (just to confuse matters) if you're loading a map you need the cable connection to a pc.

I carry the bluetooth adaptor and phone with me when touring, could help diagnose any problem that might occur while away.

There are quite often updates available for TuneEcu, the above was correct last time I looked, functionality could have changed by now. Always worth checking their site.

 

Too manet numbers for my vin in what way sir

 

There was only the 1 map for my 955i in all of that going by the vin number that i could use that was the high level tors one .its not a tors i have but i have down loaded it in to the ecu once the bikes back together i will give that map ago . Might have to take the baffle out am not sure if tor high levels had baffles am hoping this will help with the cuting out when i give her the beans she pulls great but soon as i pull clutch in she dies on me .

Looks OK to me.
Depends what you intend doing, if changing maps you need to connect via cable, if you need to switch service spanner off you need Bluetooth.
For cable connection you'll need a short adaptor cable (OTG) to plug into the micro USB socket which has full size USB socket on other end, and of course the OBD2 cable.

 

Need help soon as please as you can see one of my fuel connectors has snapped off what is it called so i can try get one or do i need the hole plate
