Sat waiting in the departure lounge at Liverpool docks waiting for the ferry to come in and take me to the IOM to watch the TT. It's sunny ☀️ and warm but a bit of a drag waiting. Here's a picture of some of the bikes.
One of the competitors at Quarterbridge on the first lap of the superstocks on Tuesday after a delayed start due to low cloud over the mountain. And here's a picture of my sea salted caramel and raspberry ripple ice cream being enjoyed at a promenade cafe after the race.
The Birchall brothers passing the church at Braddan on lap one of the sidecar race today. Obviously very good but I would much rather see a different winner for a change. The Birchalls and the Crows just look so much faster than everyone else. A picture of the well organised and monitored bike park at Braddan church. The facilities are good here with tea, coffee, good hot food and sandwiches, soups, homemade cakes, indoor toilets and seats.
Looks like you’re having a ball @andypandy, racing and ice cream, thanks for sharing. Freezing here too @Bikerman , at least it’s fine for a change so plenty of riding
Good one Andy, they say 'the best race in the world'. The wife and I were there in 2012, long way from OZ but we'll worth it.
Great photos, @andypandy! Thanks for sharing them. That sidecar is certainly quite modern looking compare to what i've seen around here (mostly Urals with dogs in them!). I particularly liked the photo of your sea salt carmel and raspberry ripple ice cream.
Sandi, I can honestly say that the ice cream tasted even better than it looked. Although, a day or so later, at Laxey Beach, I had a Lemon Sorbet ice cream which was just amazingly good and probably the best i've ever had.
