Featured Touring Trmcc Agm 2023

Happy to head off for a weekend with my TRMCC family.
Auckland chapter met up with some Northland, Waikato, and BOP chapter members to ride to New Plymouth.

Once gassed up, we checked in to the hotel, and found Corvette club was sharing the location

 

Friday evening drinks and dinner was fun.
Saturday had buffet breakfast, AGM, lunch, and an organised ride with Taranaki chapter to local tavern and club rooms.







North Island chapters won the annual Tug of War challenge

 

Saturday evening had a buffet dinner, charity auction, and live band
Each chapter presented a trophy to their selected bike judged on the ride and in the roped off area at the venue







Auction raised more than $4500 for St John’s ambulance, proudly received by Doug

 

Another great buffet breakfast with fruit, cereals and juice plus full English and coffee.
Then it was a quick pack and home with a stop for gas

Auckland suffered major slips after recent rain, with many home being flooded. We only had minor flooding at home, requiring sweeping out the garage on 27/1/23
Many other areas of north island have been devastated by the cyclone Gabriel, but we fared ok.
I saw many slips and road damage over the last 3 weeks of riding

 

Thanks @Sandi T was a big ride home for my old body, but thoroughly enjoyed the weekend
