Hi All, Firstly, I'm new to forums in general as well as here, so please be nice lol!! Iv'e recently purchased a 1999 rs 955i which has been Street Fightered slightly. I absolutely love this bike.....its simply awesome and having owned a TLR-1000, a ZX-9R and other big bikes, the power delivery and response from the RS is amazing. I wish I'd bought one years ago now!! Thing is, I want to put a set of renthals on her, but am running on a low budget. I've looked at the top yoke conversions on ebay (£160 without hose etc) and just can't help but think there must be an alternative. So my question is to all you Guru's out there......... Is there another yoke from an alternative bike, with the brackets for straight bars as standard, that will fit my RS?? If not, please does anyone have a top yoke conversion gathering dust they'd like to sell or any other ideas?? Thanks in anticipation for all your advice - from a truly awestruck triumph owner!!
you can remove the top yoke and I believe there are round machinings underneath which if you drill carefully, you can use something like this....... 1993-1998 TRIUMPH TIGER 885 900 T400 HANDLEBAR CLAMPS | eBay
