    I guys,

    As winter is slowly approaching and all we have to look forward to is another Christmas, so I thought how about a factory tour to get through the winter blues in January?

    I live in Bournemouth so I was thinking of renting a mini bus and collecting any members on the way up (you may need to meet us on route).

    So who's in?

    I would be in, toured the place before when Triumph had their open day but still up for another.

    Great to see how they build all the different models on one production line.

    I only live about 25 mins away from the factory in Moira near Ashby de la Zouch

    Great,

    I've been there lots of times when I worked for a Triumph dealership but never got the chance to see the factory. Hopefully I'll bump into a few staff members whilst I'm there.

    Are they still doing tours then? When I bought my bike last week the dealer said they used to organise tours up there but it doesn't happen any more, I wasn't sure if that's because of the dealer or the factory, so I looked on Triumph's website and it says they don't do tours at the moment (in the faqs).
    Would really like to visit there, preferably in the summer on the bike though!

    They have probably stopped the tours as they have 2014 bikes on production and they don't want any leaks until they are properly announced. I will check in closer to the time to make sure. i do also know that some dealers used to organise tours but many have also stopped doing that.

    Im up for it.
    Up until two weeks ago i lived about 2 mile away from the factory, drove past it twice a day but never been inside. Im still pretty local, im back in Northants again now so would probably meet you guys there or en route.

    Could we possibly tie the Triumph factory visit in with a brick throwing contest in the nearby village of Mallory. I believe there are some locals round that way that are probably feeling pretty fucking pleased with themselves this week.... Just saying View attachment 1939

    Not sure they still do the tours anymore, there wasn't any this year except for the one with Triumph Live!

    Dunno yet, maybe a gathering somewhere prob in summer as we can all ride there etc

    Oh and the "LIKE" yes I'm still waiting for the owners of the site to sort it out!! I'll email them again........

    From triumphs own website: Can I visit the Triumph factory?
    We are not currently offering tours of our Hinckley Factory, but hope to be able to reintroduce them in the future. Full details will be published on this website at the time they become available.
    Not sure when this was posted though.

    Hummm, I'll have a chat to the Triumph UK sales team when I'm in Milan next month and see what they can do. Thanks for letting me know guys.
