Just fitted evotech tail tidy really pleased with the result, excellent product. No cutting of cables, all the right fittings. Also fitted radiator and oil cooler guard very good. Bought bike 3wks ago off ebay only 10weeks old, first time owning triumph. Absolutely love it, my back couldn't take my gsxr 1000 anymore. Also ordered sc project oval end can last week, awaiting delivery. Could anyone please tell me what remap I will require. Just like to say what a great forum this is

    That's looks great!!

Mine should have turned up in the post today as well.

How long did it take you to install the tail tidy?

Hi dar71, I'm just waiting for mine to arrive. I've taken the original tail tidy off in the past, and unscrewed the indicators. They looked tight to get off, you said no cable cutting needed, any advice on getting the cables out.
    Cheers

Hi top banana the online instructions are very good, will only take you 45mins to an hour. Original tail tidy splits into two pieces so it's easy to get cables out. New fittings all plug straight in . Happy days

Viewed the instructions on the website... looks like some real thought has gone into this... makes a mockery of the r&going one

Well packaged. Crystal clear instructions. Neat indicators. Tough finish. Connectors on all wires. No cutting, glueing or foam parts.

    Really happy with mine

Just fitted Evotech tail tidy, what a lovely bit of kit top quality, glad I held out and didn't buy r&g.
Easy to fit, done in my dinner hour. When I removed the original tail, there was a square rubber spacer.
I didn't refit it, did anyone else, I think it would have made the underside stick out a bit?

Same thing happened a bit of rubber fell out.

Mine fitted back with it in place it's just a washer type thing to prevent the original plastic tail tidy from cracking from over tightening??

I fitted mine with the gasket thought it might help cut vibration to the tail tidy

Saw the R&G one fitted tonight... there's no blanking plate underneath... just a hole and all your wires!!!!

The owner said it took him 4 hrs to fit and was now going to order the evotech!!

I just removed rear seat to get the tool kit, and found the area very dirty, with gravel etc under the seat.
The Evotech tail tidy leaves a gap, allowing dirt to get in.
Not a massive problem, but have stuffed a rad in the gap for the time being.
