New to forum, as jjst put a deposit on a pre reg 1050R Dark. Bit different from my Past Rides, (Intruder 1800/Kwak GTR/Bandit GT), so fancied something a bit different.
Mark Welcome to the Family. Great choice of bike and yes we patron do require a picture to stop us getting disruptive for nursey. The only thing I would say is its a Kwak or Bandit. But a totally different machine. Screens I am not a fan of. I usually settle for the fly screens. Ride Safe Joe.
Welcome aboard Mark, great choice of steed, I've put a Scorpion serkat on my Speedy, there is a thread on here for the Austin Racing lowboy stubby which looks awesome, have fun with your new bike.
Welcome Mark I have had a speed RS since March you will absolutely luv it but you need the speed shifter/blipper it adds to the fun factor.
Thanks, reading good reviews on the SC Project underseat cans. That will probably be my first mod. Always like to get exhaust upgrades on my bikes.
Got it last Thursday. Not sure how to add pics to this site. Thought it would just be like adding a normal attachment. You probably guessed that I'm not that IT savvy.
Take your picture upload to your computer from then go to this forum and on the bottom right of reply box press Upload a file go from there and upload. (if still struggling I'm sure someone will be along to give better explanation)
I'll have a look tonight as trying to do it from my Samsung. I clicked the upload file but nothing happened
It sometimes is quite slow even with a good connection, and I think there is a maximum file size (not sure what it is but I've loaded files approx 2Mb)
Here is the new ride. Number 34 of 50, with just 21 miles on. Will take some better pictures once i get out for a ride
Mods thinking about. Clear Screen Tail Tidy Cans - Arrow/Scorpion (had scorpion on a GTR1400, looked great and sounded even better). Engine Covers
Well it was worth waiting to see the pictures! Really different...I love the painted Triumph tank lettering
I'm surprised that they didn't fit black radiator side trims on the 'dark' model. I sprayed the silver ones on my old 2016 R black with PlastiDip . You need zero skill and they come out brilliantly...and it peels off if you don't like it. Get modding!
That's a bute Mark...... But you have a serious problem to consider..... That's going to be a collectable bike you have there that could be worth a lot in the future..... But only if you keep it standard. I have a '94R, similar applies all though no where near as rare...... Sod it, I've modded the hell out of it, just couldn't resist.
