Just to add to this there is a euro medical card I think that may be needed to prove residency of the uk, I think it was free last time I needed one but just check.

There's a huge choice of options.. Places to see.. Routes etc. Etc. And everyone has their own opinion but in short you can't really go wrong North or South.
One of the most popular routes is the Wild Atlantic way, check out a guy called Richy Vida on you tube, he has a small touring company called Wildbad touring they create a series of videos for each tour they do. They are based in England and did the Wild Atlantic way last May they have just started uploading the vids of that trip to YouTube in the last couple of weeks . Check them out as they are highly entertaining to watch and will give you some ideas for your own adventures.
I live in Northern Ireland and if I can be of any help just ask.

Hello from Northern Ireland, can't think of what problems you might envisage in my homeland. What do yo want to know, there is plenty. Belfast is a vibrant city.
County Antrim, you have one of the most beautiful motorcycle coast roads in Europe, leading to the Giants Causeway and all that comes with that, there you will find the seaside towns of Portrush, Portstewart which incorporate the famous NW200 street circuit. You also have Bushmills and the famous distillery. County Londonderry, beautiful beaches of Benone and Magilligan, the City of Derry and access to County Donegal, the Sperrin mountains dropping down into the lakelands of Fermanagh. Plenty of Castles and stately homes along the way. Armagh has some fantastic border roads and spectacular scenery developing into the Mountains of Mourne flowing from beautiful County down and again some lovely coast roads. Not to mention some of the finest Cuisine you'll find, never mind the Guinness.
So there you have it. Anything else just ask.
