Those look familiar @MadMrB are they a re-badged version of someone else's boots? To be honest I gave up and admitted defeat in my quest and so I haven't been looking of late. I have been making do with my old (made in 1992) rigger boots and trying my best not to fall off :). I used to be wary of steel toed boots on bikes because of all the horror stories about amputated toes but, to be honest, I can't really see any situation where steel toes could be squashed or rip your toes off that wouldn't be so serious that losing toes would be the least of your worries. I have considered 'Foundry boots' - the real ones not the Spada boots as they have the ability to buckle in tight on the legs but haven't bought any yet although, with my current plans to have a go at some welding I might buy a pair for that and test their suitability for biking at the same time.
