Looks like you have it sorted Sprinter, I always liked the seats on bikes off that era they where huge and well padded.
Today I finally finished painting my garages. Only the shed to give a coat of Cuprinol and I have run out of major jobs around the garden.,,..
I had to drop off the tyres and wheels at the garage, leave em outside and they would collect em and fit then phone me and leave em outside for collection. Did a few more jobs and tidied around the shed for a little more room and less chance of scraping my new exhaust etc. These carbs are supposed to have, overflow tubes on the bottom eh? Does any one know if they just drop down behind the swing arm or any other imfo on fitting them? They didnt come with the bike so I need to get some. Would any tube do? Do they interconnect?
Would not fuel hosing do the job , it is easy to get even from flea bay and did they not drop down through a guide with the other hoses? just a thought
Well I finally got around to changing all the brake pads on the Daytona. The rear ones were well and truly fucked. It looks like the back of the pad was snagged on the mounting bracket so only one side was able to move, no wonder the brake was even worse than usual! Otherwise I've spent a fair while finally getting my slate plinth finished for my Garrard turntable. I bought it, semi-complete about 18 months ago for £100 which was an absolute steal. I had to machine a hole to mount the arm using just a battery drill and diamond core drill. Looks nice and sounds good too. Anyone else here got some Hi-Fi ? (I feel I know the answer! ).
Yeah, got my old AV amp and CD separate in the garage too. Radio plugged in to the amp as well, plus a lead for the phone. Constant rotation of foo fighters, pixies and stone roses as they all sound best with the volume cranked right up Edit - the wee box on top of the CD contains a dead Siberian Hamster! It's been there a while now, image it's nicely desiccated now
It's a complete pain in the arse TBH mate, you need to be dedicated to it. Also, thanks to all the bloody hipsters it's pretty expensive now. I've been using vinyl as my primary source for about 25 years now.
Nah, cheap as chips My kids bought me this for Xmas, sound quality isn't the greatest, but as good as I had back in the day. Plus I get to listen to my vinyl collection
