My three grandsons put this together during the easter holidays... I added the words to the video a couple of days ago. https://youtu.be/psH9LUIBXHE
I think you will find Wessa actually said its his three grandson's !!! that one's a proper rocker in the making and a canny little guitar player PS- Dont kick yourself too bad Adie, as on a better note you'll find @dilligaf agreed with your post
Oooooohhhh POO!! .... humble apologies for any inadvertant "gender misappropriation"! Note to self - read EVERYTHING beforehand. Please amend my post to read :- "LOVE the rock'n'roll attitude of the acoustic guitar player! Priceless." SORRRREEEEEE.......
No worries @Adie P , it is common mistake that people make. Best laugh I had was one day he was playing rugby and one of the mums from the opposition team said how good it was to see a young girl being so aggressive playing ruby. She was mortified when I informed her it was a boy. He wears his hair long and won’t get it cut short; good on him.....
Got the carb jets, main and primary up graded from 105 to 115 main, and primary 115 to 117.5. I also raised the needle up one. and got em back in the bike , although I cant fit the air box yet, cos the new negative earth lead bolts to the engine under the box and it hasn't arrived yet.I had a hairy moment when it looked like the needle holding screws wouldn't move. I sometimes think, 'why do I have so many tools,' and then you go through 10 screw-drivers and eventually find one that fits perfect, and it undoes, what nothing before could,( fyi non JIS), and it comes to you, 'that's why I have so many tools' Do you think I should replace this Dyna battery here's the results ive got since 17/4/20, comparing with a spare Ive got that doesnt fit the GS box?
Nice going Sprinter, I always preferred those carbs to CV's with a rubber condom on top, that's a gradual decline in the battery but the only true test is under load a drop tester is the best way to find out if a battery is beyond help.
Yeah, and Ive never ridden it any distance, its topped up on the tender. TBH Im really surprised its in this good a shape. Ive always started the bike regularly, up until last autumn when I emptied the tank I suppose, I'll test it when I get the bike up and running and keep one eye on it.
Today, I connected the in-line fuel filter, got the air-box back on, fitted the chain and chain-guard (second hand). Attached the engine bars. Waiting for some fuel line then its tank on.
