Last week I was talking with another tiger 900 owner about the softness of the front suspension and how he found the sinking of the suspension very unsettling, this while approaching a turn, and how this gave him an uneasy feeling. I remember how long it took me to get used to what I considered oversensitive steering, I would need to be concentrated on a relaxed grip on the handlebar and never thought it would be a "bad" setting of the suspension. Anyhow, our bikes were in the normal settings, 8 clicks on the left and 10 on the right We decided to try a harder suspension setting I tried the sport setting, 2 and 2 clicks but found it very harsh Settled in the middle 5 clicks on the left and 6 on the right, this setting is spot on for me, a much more precise and comfortable steering without the deep of the front when braking, overall it was a very pleasant and welcome change My mate also was pretty happy with the change Perhaps this is like reinventing the wheel but it was quite a good discovery for both of us
I made several videos on this subject. You paid all that money for quality suspension, it would be a shame not to use it.
