Thruxton R Bar End Weight Removal

    Does any know how to remove the bar end weights from a Thruxton R as I am looking to replace the bar end mirrors?
    I tried an allen key but no joy!

    Maybe try tightening it before yo loosen it again they usually screw into a rubber bung.
    Mine undid really easy recently
