    Went to have a look at 03:00 @BATEBY45 and saw a couple of Perseids. Disadvantage was the half moon the light of which blotting out any smaller meteorites. Background lighting is a problem too.

    I snapped this at my brothers cabin on Green Lake in Minnesota a few years back. I ran across the photo while scrolling through my Photos album on my computer. Great memories. My folks bought the cabin in the late '70's and it has been in the family ever since. Mr. Sandi and I love to spend time there when we go back to visit. And, yes, ALWAYS in the summer. ;):joy:
