    @Fartomany Yes mate but i love it that way. I will eventually get the rear guard chromed when i can afford to get a donor one.

    @Sandi T No Sandi i have traded my 400. When i get the bike i will post some pictures to amuse the peeps here as they already know i an a nut. But till then i want to keep up the suspense.

    That's a given, of course ? :) If I could find the photos of a pre-unit Bonnie I had, when I also had 5 mates working in a chrome shop .. you'll have a laugh !

    Thought i would just give you peeps two random pictures of the bike i have purchased. But as promised will photograph the actual bike when it arrives
    @Martine Got the seat back on the bike now all repadded and boy it does the business. I am so happy with it now we can clock up some more miles. He even put a little Union Jack on it. Sorry i seemed to have missed the flag thumbnail1.jpg thumbnail2.jpg thumbnail3.jpg

    Definitely looks more padded! Ready for some cushiony miles. Including the Union Jack is a great touch! Details like that really add cachet. Thanks for the follow-up!

    You would if you'd seen it after all the chrome, fancy paint, custom seat, etc, and before it hit the road, checked it out by doing a you beaut burnout in the driveway, without a front brake cable yet ... and the alloy adjuster on the back brake rod decided to strip it's threads ..... garages don't get out of the way !
    Was still good looking, and shiny .. even with the bent forks and tank that held about a gallon less !:sob:
