Well, American gun ownership does help to keep the human population down, which is a net gain for the environment. Owning more guns and a Prius - no one can claim he/she isn’t doing their bit to save the planet.
I like it, although actually I suspect that the net environmental impact of building a new Prius or Tesla is probably quite a bit greater than the impact of keeping an existing ICE car on the road for longer.
I suppose it's quite useful that the driver is warning others that he or she is a gun nut, and probably armed and dangerous. Me, I carry nothing more dangerous than a penknife. (And no, Cyborgbot, not a sgian dubh in my sock.)
