Haha! This is the Pulpit Rock, I used to live in the nearby city and visited the place several times. It is in fact one of the most popular places in Norway for tourists (300,000 visitors annually), and one of the scenes in the latest Mission Impossible films was shot there. And yup, it's as bad as it looks. From the top it's a 604 meters drop into the fjord below and the crack goes app. 150 meters down from the top, making the shelf essentially the flat tip of a needle. So one day, the whole thing will collapse into the fjord and create an impressive tsunami. Needless to say, they are constantly monitoring the crack. If that makes it at all safer, is another matter.
