You are correct, it is taking the pee. The owner of the forum obviously doesn’t care about the site. I will be carefully considering whether I pay my subs next time they’re due. All we as disgruntled members can do is stop giving the site owner our money. Hope it doesn’t come to this but!!!
Just click on the spammer's avatar then click on Ignore. Refresh the page and, presto! The stinkin' spammers' posts disappear like magic. I agree it's annoying but I'd rather click 2x and hit refresh than spend time being annoyed. Or quit the forum. I enjoy my friends here too much to be deterred by spammers. That said, I certainly do agree and wish that the forum owner would address this issue.
Enjoy the forum while you can, @Rob not seen for 3 months now. Don't be surprised if the forum becomes unavailable.
Whilst your suggestion does work for the majority of these scum it doesn’t seem to work for all of them. I have tried but some don’t have the ignore option.
I really hope that doesn't come to pass, @Col_C. I would truly miss this forum and the connections I've made here very, very much. I so enjoy being able to talk motorcycles and other important aspects with folks from all over the planet. It's too bad someone can't figure out how to contact @Rob and perhaps buy the rights to the forum and be an attentive manager. Hmmm, maybe @Octoberon?

Shame after running 10 years. I had thought of becoming a subscriber to give back to the forum, but spam overload this year had me rethinking.
