    Definitely suits you Dilli.

Now imagine what the new Rocket will be like as it’s supposed to be a big step up

I wonder if there will be bargains on the old Rockets? once owners decide they want the new one

Rockets have always one of my favourites, just the sheer size of it and the fact triumph built it was truly remarkable.
I've sat on one but never rode one as yet but it's on my to test ride list.
if your wanting to do a deal, I'd wait for the 2019 version to come out

    Still enjoying NUDGER
Maybe when the summers over and there might be a few more Rockets floating around after the new ones have been out for a while :)
It was brilliant but it’s a bit of a handful

Great review Dilli, sounds like you are really taken by the bike. I look forward to hearing whether you will sell Nudger and buy a one? I did give the R3 some thought when I was looking for a big cruiser. Sat on it and decided it was a journey to far for me and bought the LT.

There will only be 750 new Rockets produced - that is worldwide as it stands. I don't expect a sudden surge in second hand on the market. Many enthusiasts are looking at a second bike. Not me as they will be expected £20,000 plus. The dealers have already taken deposits on an unknown bike with an unknown price tag..

Ah Nudger will be pleased to hear that Graham. I have sat on a Rocket but couldn’t get it off the side stand so decided it wasn’t for me . That Trophy I had was bad enough and if the road was cambered I couldn’t move it.
I’ve also sat on a Boss Hoss once and that was completely insane but sounded great

I haven't got the slightest clue how many miles to the gallon I get from my Rocket, If I was worried about mileage I wouldn't have bought it, I work with a bloke who bought a Range Rover so he could sit and pose with it when he went to Asda on a Saturday, he can't afford to go anywhere else in it,sad bastid.

:confused:The way I’ve heard/understand is that there’s gonna be 750 Triumph factory custom Rockets along with a more affordable :)joy:)run of Rockets :)
Hopefully this is the case as after today I think it would be nuts for Triumph to drop such an iconic piece of machinery
Unlike anything I’ve had to this day the Rocket is MORE than just a motorbike :imp:
It’s in a league of its own as far as I’m concerned
