Great pic's @Sandi T., every time I see one I can feel that warm AZ sunshine and remember the great road trips cheers
I see that some bikers haven’t quite got the hang of the designated biker parking spaces out of the front!!!! Great write up and eager to hear your thoughts after the run-in!
Mr. Sandi's Christmas present from Mrs. Sandi :- Mrs. Sandi's Christmas present from Mr. Sandi :- https://www.cycleworld.com/story/buyers-guide/2020-triumph-thruxton-1200-r-rs/ Problem solved and zero sum game! Everyone's a winner. X
And that beauty of a bike would be my likely choice to even the score at 2 Harleys -- 2 Triumphs, @Adie P! Seems like it would fit nicely in the Christmas gift, too.
As they say @sandi, three is a magic number! Garage space is my limitation on bike numbers. Four didn't work! One had to live under a tree!
Yes, steve, three does seem to be the magic number for me when it comes to motorcycles. Our two-car garage will just barely fit four bikes plus one car. At this point we couldn't even fit a Vespa or a Grom in there somewhere. Mr. Sandi has contemplated adding a Triumph Tiger that could sit someplace in our side yard by going in through the gate. But I think he is truly happy with "just" one bike though is perfectly happy for his wife to have three. Thank goodness.
Sandi T I just adore you and have so much respect for your Steve. Another great write up and a terrific bike even though our Ron is not converted yet. You deserve it after the bad year you have had. So like all the peeps are saying get out there and have a whail of a time. Also agree on the filter on that camera of yours. I got to work this morning and couldn't even get my disc lock on the bike even with heated gloves. And take head your writing skills and talent could make you a lot of Wonga. And bike Mags would pay for the stories. Love you Lots Joe.
@joe mc donald Thank you so much for your kind comments, Joe. You are a gentleman and a gem among men. I'm glad you continue to enjoy my write ups and that you haven't become bored with them. I have to say that I don't really "deserve" the bike I just bought or, for that matter, any of the blessings the numerous people and things that have blessed my life--even seen in light of the bad year I've had. Many others have had and continue to have a far worse year than I. But this year has certainly made me much more aware of and thankful for my blessings. And this year has also made me realize how many things can change on a dime so I'm striving to appreciate each day. What's the saying? I think it's something like "Today is a gift. That's why they call it the present." A lot of "Wonga", eh? Sounds like something I could use more of! I think?? Love you lots, too, Joe. Sandi
Oooh, don't tempt me or plant ideas, @JtC! Plus there's no "room at the inn" unless you'd volunteer to house and "exercise" the Scrambler if I purchased one. I have thought that it might be fun to have a small dirt bike and learn to ride that. Lord knows there's plenty of dirt in Arizona--well, more like sand and rocks but similar idea.
Thanks for the positive feedback on the write up, @andyc1. I'll be happy to share some of our sun and warmth with you--along about July of 2021 when it's 112ºF!
just catching up on older threads. Wow Sandi, what a fantastic collection. Congratulations on the new bike. He certainly looks very much at home there with his other friends Like the others have said, very envious of that lovely sunny weather made worse by the fact it’s around zero degrees Celsius here (I think that’s about 33 degrees F.) So enjoy those bikes and keep doing the awesome write ups.
