    That's a great suggestion mate, I'll give it some thought.

    My agenda is (I'm delighted to say) filling up great so I'm really looking forward to my trip and meeting as many of yo'all as possible.

    Hi RR, I think it would be great to meet up there and put faces to names. The 23rd is a Saturday I believe - will they be open during lunchtime? If they are why don't we say 12 midday for coffee on me?

    I'm assuming (mother of all mess ups) yer mean Squires cafe & 12noon, and pastie's on me!

    Not only are they open there's a bike autojumble that morning so I'll be there from 10amish buying rubbish. Then chip butty and tea, been going since 1966ish, can't break with tradition and eat anything else can I!

    If yer meant A1 no probs, can dob in there 12 noon after Squires.

    The thing is RR, the last time I met my cousin - who I'm staying with - he wasn't the absolute best early riser, plus the bikes will be at my Auntie's place in Alwoodley (security measure), so I think it might be safer to say we'll meet up at the Triumph place in York at midday, if that's alright with you?

    Perhaps I can do Squires on the way back and have lunch there.

    Having thought about I've just a look at Google maps and I reckon me and John (cousin) could do a nice little bimble from Seacroft to Squires, then on to York. After the A1 moto meet up across to Knaresboro, Harrogate and drop down to Alwoodley to park up. It'll just be a matter of prising him out of his pit !

    French curry - errrrrrrr NO, there's no such thing. Normally when I come to the UK I fly over, stay in Northampton or Kidderminster. So it's either the Kingsthorpe or similar and I get a good gutful to carry me over for a few months. The drive back in the cars I buy can sometimes require all windows open - if you get my 'drift'.

    Not really mate, just daft about Land Rovers and Jags. Buy them, renovate them and bring them back to tip-top condition, enjoy them for a while then start again.

    A paying hobby you might say........................

    A long time ago when I had money 1987 I had a 1986 3.2 Carrera full convertible - magnificent car. Built by engineers and enthusiasts not accountants.
