Good job My wife would go mental if she new the real cost of my bikes assorries,I've spent a small fortune on mine so far and plan on spending more I'm thinking of getting some nice carbon wheels I've also spent loads and loads of cash on my 1991 cbr 600 the bodywork is at dream machine paint getting a touch up Keep up the good work
Yeah i definitely have spent some cash! I dont dare tell her iv got a 1997 vtr firestorm 1000 that needs a respray. Might tell her someone did it for free because im such a pleasant chap. Surely shell believe that!
I doubt it! Have a back up plan, go through her wardrobe and see how many new frocks you can find that she didn't tell you about before purchase then if she gives you any stick turn it round on her!
Doesn't work cos she'll say they are a necessity and only worn to make her attractive to you! Tell her they used cheap paint and it washed off in all the rain and this (the new colour) was underneath, that was lucky!! Oh and make sure the new paint scheme matches one of her outfits
Thats a good idea but i think she may see through that one. Pardon the pun! Although all of these suggestions are great. Especially the wardrobe espionage, Im probably more likely to just risk her thundering around the house for a few days in a huff. Which gives me more time in the garage to fit said new parts! Work smarter, not harder!
Yes! Once had 2 weeks of exactly the sort of treatment you mentioned coz I took her literally when she said do what the feck you want! .. apparently that didn't mean that I had approval to purchase a shiny new GSXR 1000! On the plus side I got to ride it loads in the first couple of weeks! Bloody women, why don't they say what they actually mean, also stop saying its fine or it doesn't matter when it clearly isn't fine and it most definitely matters!
Nah! too drastic, borrow/hire a fireman's uniform and get a picture taken with some puppies a bit quick, and all will be forgotten!
