Yesterday a 400+ mile run to Inverness and back with the worst breakfast ever in some posh cafe just South of Drumnadrochit. Then today a 150 mile run to Ayr and back with a cracking fish supper on the sea front (less than half the price of the breakfast too)
i was wondering which way you would go to Inverness..you went the best way! did you come back the same way or by Braemar or down the A9?
Penicuik - Perth - Gowrie - Glenshee - Inverness.... then back down the busy A82 (don't know what people see in that road) to Ballachulish, through the Moor down to Stirling then M9 home. Temperature guage was going up and down like whores drawers as I was climbing and dropping through the mountains.... 6 - 28 deg with everything in between. Great day on the bike though, I do prefer the loop anti-clockwise
Yes agree with you Gary the A82 can get too busy at times, i do like it though if it's not too busy! i never tire of the run from Tyndrum up to Glencoe and stopping off at "The Clachaig" for lunch, just before you reach Glencoe village
Gonna look nice amongst those ugly ass harl**ys !!! And yeah, don't get the big top fairing 'Bagger' style, but hey, life be boring if they had blue and white America's !!!! plus make mine look and sound even better, even the Har**y boys had to admit it sounded awesome Was the first ride of a wee Cruiser group in D&G, can't help but organise runs , hopefully a couple of the Triumph guys will get their fingers out of their arse and join us
Only thing I can say it's some sort of 'grass cutting machine' grass collector attached to a rotavator so, yes, I can see its out of place there! Snigger snigger
Hope the poor guy doesn't get a triumph and come on here and see what we've been saying about his bike!
I rode a harley once, well.....swopped bikes on the way back from a run. I was so glad to give it back. they dont handle at all. Frightened the shite out of me on the first roundabout. They look nice but no, Not for me.
