A place up in Mt. Laurel, NJ, Cycle Smart, that sells only pre-owned MCs had a "Bike Day" today. A salesman there that sold me the Speedy when he worked at the Triumph dealership works there now, so I thought I'd go up and see him. They had a band and food. Bron was supposed to meet me there, but he ran late and I left before he got there. There was a kid there, Andy, that came over to look at my Speedmaster. He was looking to buy his first bike. They had a Bonneville there that he was interested in and he wanted to know about Triumphs. The only problem was his fiancé was not on board with him having a motorcycle. Speaking from practical experience, I gave him the best advice I had. Buy the bike. She won't talk to you for two weeks. It's a win/win. Peace and quiet for two weeks and you'll have a nice motorcycle. Some bikes A Rocket One of these things One of those things Haute Cuisine Miss Maggie
More of a random walk out, than a ride out. The locals have been busy again with their knitting needles.
Good advice you gave about buying the bike even with his fiancé not being on board, @Fork Lock. Who knows? Maybe someday she'll be the one riding a motorcycle! Fun event photos, too. Thanks for sharing!
Another random walk out post I'm afraid. Our local knitters have been busy again. I think they're great.
Those really are amazing knitters and projects, @Bikerman! Thanks for sharing pics from your "walk outs".
A chilly Sunday morning ride from Plymouth via Tavistock & Hatherleigh to Bideford in North Devon. Back along the Atlantic Highway in Cornwall, down to Launceston, Callington & back into Devon by the Tamar Bridge. Glorious roads, in Company with my two lads on their Winter Hacks, whilst I was on my pride & joy!
Here is a pic of our bikes at the middle of Collada de Tosses, a wonderfully twisty road along the Pyrenees in Catalonia. It was a great sunny day where we enjoyed about 400 km of nice roads. There is nothing than riding your bike with a friend over kilometres and kilometres.
Another random walk about picture. Well to celebrate Australia day, our local knitters been busy again.
Nice Lambretta GP. Looks like he's running a reed valve kit saying as the carb air intake is on the right hand side.
