Whilst on the IOM I visited the Second WW Memorial at Port St Mary which commemorates the men and women of the Merchant Navy who lost their lives during the evacuation at Dunkirk. The IOM Steam Packet Company lost three vessels during the evacuation. One of the vessels lost was the TSS Mona’s Queen III. Her Anchor was recovered from the seabed off Dunkirk on the 29th May 2010 to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of her sinking.

Here are few pics from my ride yesterday. There were no bikes at the Ponderosa, never seen that; mind it was only nine o'clock in the morning. The view over the valley is looking down the valley where Havit will be at the Lan Bike Fest this weekend.. Wessa
Not a bad show. Plenty of bikes . Didn't see any plod until after the show when I went up Horse shoe pass . at the café at the top plod turn up and sat waiting for bikes. Then got out and asked bikers if they had baffels in.
Had a run out on the speed twin this morning. Stopped off at Oulton Park where there was a track day, lovely and warm watching the cars go by.
I rode round the track at Oulton Park in the back of a Police Land Rover once.. Legitimately, kind of. I got in the park in the back under a tarp, dad was driving him and his oppo fancied a run round the track, and I got a ride along. I was about 8!
