Just finalized a new garage/cave. Now I need to shift focus to the bikes. New tail tidy for the 1200 r got finished yesterday.
Thanks. I am a part of a racing team as well so maybe it has something to do with it...+ the fact that I like to have it nice and clean.
Oh how fickle you are Duck! Not so long ago you were begging to join Bad Billy Racing pit crew , I must admit you wouldn't be fighting off any hot blondes, more likely elderly Triumph riders that wiff of wee trying to steal the hobnobs
Agree: What does not get picked over just gets flatter. Years ago a buddy of mine and I "found" a bumper [or it found us] sideways in the dark. Not one of.those modern plastic ones. Big and chrome.plated ! Ran over it at maybe 70-75 mph ! WOW does that will wake you up ! Stopped, checked the car. Small ding in our front bumper was all. Amazing.
Well BBR just made it easier for you to decide! Dear Duck, I regret to inform you that your application to join Bad Billy Racing as pit bitch has not been successful, this was mainly down to you mechanical skills being compared to that of a drunk Chimp by certain forum members. Regards @Dozers Dad BBR Team Manager
It's a simple enough task, you stop the Hobnobs getting pilfered while also resisting the temptation of eating them all yourself. As for your (ahem!) feelings ... I did tell DD to break it to ya gently, but upon reflection, knowing DD that was gently!
I agree, that £2500 soon mounts up when you use angle grinders instead of spanners mate! I will just have to make sure that Ron doesn't bring the hunting rifle or he'll be wiping out the opposition just to get his win bonus!
It's called poetic licence DD, drunk chimp / blind chimp blah blah! as was me signing the rejection letter as from you, you have to take some responsibility as BBR manager.
Errm! Guys, the spirit of competition would be somewhat lost if you take out all the opposition, you just need to take care of the ones that are faster than me .... Feck off, they ain't ALL faster than me!
I agree @Adie P cruel beyond words There are one or two riders slower than me, you saw it with your own eyes ... Oh! bugger no you didn't you got lost on the way
Yeah, getting lost and shuffling around slowly become pretty much the norm at my age! It's just one of the great, good benefits of taking a young bride that I have an attractive, fit and able carer to make sure I eventually get home safely!
