Yup, pretty well. Although now I think you might have to look up Ploughmans lunch! This could go on for a while
I suspect this could go on forever, crispey. Probably for the rest of our lives. International foods and food differences are fascinating!
Well if you can answer why I can't get apple jelly over here to go with my peanut butter I'll help you with yours. I can get grape jelly but its not the same
This was quite an interesting read about the Ploughman's lunch. See if you can find the sentence in the article that include the phrase "hold the piccalilli". And please let me know if the article is accurate! https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/wordofmouth/2014/mar/31/how-to-eat-a-ploughmans-lunch
In all my years as a yank (which is all my years!), I can't say that I've ever eaten apply jelly, crispey! Apple butter, yes, but apply jelly, no. Can't you order it from Amazon? Amazon seems to have everything these days.
@steve lovatt put his hand in his pocket to buy a drink We all know Mr Lovatts from Yarkshire so your claim is very unlikely
Definitely, piccalilli is absolutely disgusting. Only the older generation eat it nowadays, probably made to eat it as a cure for rickets or scurvy when they were wee !!!
