Anybody have any recommendations for which decent textile trousers to go for? Have hood jeans, looking for something more technical. Must be breathable, decent armour/protection, water resistant (not proof), not too warm, around £170?? And the moon on a stick please.
Could do worse than Halvarssons I have Halverssons trousers and they are the first truly waterproof trousers I have, I commute 60 miles a day every day no matter the weather, they are nice n warm in the winter, have seen me through a topple with only a minor scratch If you jacket is a different make, just check it is compatible with the zip
Halvarssons. Other than silly priced rukka gear, you ain't gonna buy better. I have a pair of zen trousers, first pair of genuinely waterproof trousers I have owned. Look on ebay, I got mine for silly cheap, think RT got from same seller on my recommendation. I'll have a look to see if I can find.
Aye, recommended by Mr O and bought them online. Zip is different to my Triumph jacket, but no leak or draft at motorway+ speeds in -3c temps Take out the lining in summer, uses zips to keep lining in place rather than velcro or buttons with elastic so nice n secure. Quite heavy, but that is because they are so well made.
These are the paid I have got 'Poseidon'...very much worth it and a t that price a steal, sizing is pretty accurate, just maybe go one size up from your normal size trousers
Careful Andy Jez likes to strut his stuff on the catwalk and won’t let you go until you’ve seen all his gear
