Anybody have any recommendations for which decent textile trousers to go for? Have hood jeans, looking for something more technical.

Must be breathable, decent armour/protection, water resistant (not proof), not too warm, around £170?? And the moon on a stick please.

    Could do worse than Halvarssons
I have Halverssons trousers and they are the first truly waterproof trousers I have, I commute 60 miles a day every day no matter the weather, they are nice n warm in the winter, have seen me through a topple with only a minor scratch
If you jacket is a different make, just check it is compatible with the zip

Halvarssons. Other than silly priced rukka gear, you ain't gonna buy better. I have a pair of zen trousers, first pair of genuinely waterproof trousers I have owned.
Look on ebay, I got mine for silly cheap, think RT got from same seller on my recommendation. I'll have a look to see if I can find.

Aye, recommended by Mr O and bought them online.
Zip is different to my Triumph jacket, but no leak or draft at motorway+ speeds in -3c temps
Take out the lining in summer, uses zips to keep lining in place rather than velcro or buttons with elastic so nice n secure.
Quite heavy, but that is because they are so well made.
