Hey guys, sorry if my English is a bit bad iam from the Netherlands. Today I bought my first triumph for it home after a small 100k. It's a T595 from 1997 but I was fitted with a dodgy alarm. By now after some Google search I found out I need a plug to bypass the alarm. But like the dumass I am I thought the alarm was completely aftermarket so started cutting in de harness. I now got the bike getting on ignition and gear the fuell pump primming but have no spark. Does anyone have a picture of a plug for a T595 I can't find one. If I have a picture of the plug I can make a plug in the loom. Many thanks
Hi Bart, and welcome to the forum from another 97 T595 owner! What did you start cutting?! I've got a spare loom in the garage I'll see if I can get a picture of the plug wiring.
Hello, I just need a picture from the by pass ug I can figure it out from there. By now I know the green with red wires are ignition power and ecu power. So I looped them, but with wat I can find from later models I need 1 more loop. Unfortunately I can not figure out witch wires
I had this problem with a Honda Blackbird years ago so I had the alarm completely removed. Worth doing if you intend keeping the bike for a while (had the Blackbird 5yrs before selling it). Just a thought.
The trouble is you're honda had an aftermarket alarm that's easy to find. The triumph has a factory alarm loom and after i disconnected the alarm it won't start. I've been looking at a wire diagram for hours I can't figger out what I've done wrong. After a bridge I made I got power going to ignition and te fuel pump but no spark.
Hi just joined so this is my first post, I’ve just tried the alarm bridge on my 98 595 and I’m having similar problems, with the alarm connected I can start the bike as soon as I disconnect and bridge pins 1 and 2 I get everything working except the starter motor? Any ideas on this. Cheers.

On that generation, the starter interlock is wired externally, down by the solenoid You need to disconnect the wires that come from the alarm module down to solenoid, disconnect them (one from the white/red wire and one from the solenoid itself) and re-connect the white/red wire directly to the solenoid. Important - there is NO 3-5 jumper on an early T595
