My foot peg is not retracting smoothly like my other one. I took it apart and found that there's a groove and the little ball indent does not move? Is this how it's supposed to operate? Is that groove manufactured or did that occur with with a malfunction? It looks to me like that ball indented supposed to have Grease.
Guillermo Salinas Yes nothing wrong there Behind the ball bearing is a spring grease them up Maybe stretch the spring a mm or so to strengthen it. The marks are just the travel of the ball bearing yours has had a lot of folding up and has just worn it a little more nothing to worry about. Regards Joe.
Joe, I put it back together added some lithium grease and magic. Smooth as buuuuuuter. I'm going to do the other one.
