R The paediatric consultant is flat refuting all scaremongering about child infections so it hardly matters.
We have here an information repository I have found more information on these threads, than is readily available in the news media. This is now my go to place for Covid imfo, speculation, and debate. Thanks to all for their input, and information sharing, that allows my education, and indulges my speculations too.
Happily it’s ONS, Public Health England and NHS statistics that trip up so many utterances from nominal experts whose own post nominals tell you they are unqualified to sound off as they do; you know, the psychologist who pretends they are a virologist, the mathematician who models and calls himself an epidemiologist, etc., etc. Conversely the subject matter experts who say, ‘not only do I know that’s not true, I know them and I know they know it’s not true and I invite them to sue me if warranted’. Silence...... You really don’t need to be an expert to smell shite! (But a blocked nose doesn’t help!)
Too funny! I'm on another (watch-related) forum where the main COVID thread runs to 13,671 posts at the time of writing this comment. Contributing to the thread we have a number of front line (very front line, as in ICU) medical professionals as well as numerous researchers and scientists who have a professional interest in the fields of epidemiology and related disciplines. Some of the comments I've read on this thread (and I don't mean from the OP, who's doing a sterling job) would cause both widespread hilarity and total condemnation in equal measure. As for me, if I came off my bike right now I couldn't even get treatment in my local hospitals, so it'll be staying right where it is for a while yet.
So ask them to account for this There is a world of difference between a killer pandemic and the politics of health resourcing plus the policy errors driven by the PCR test in which far too many (who should know better) still repose childlike faith.
Oh I am absolutely a sceptic. You clearly lack the cojones to ask the question because you would rather indulge in group think. It doesn’t add up! I have no doubt SOME are busy but..... why are the NHS disciplining staff that don’t tow the line? The ONLY explanation for alleged problems is staff absences from sickness - real or segregated. The PCR test has already been discredited in Portugal but watch the court case in Germany ......
I fear this is probably detracting from the threads original intention, which was information regarding Covid vaccinations... it wold be nice if the Covid impact speculation could be kept in the other Covid thread if possible???
It's why I asked if the thread could be split earlier, it's been done before on other threads IIRC... @Havit ?
Hi, when you say we expect ten million doses of the Pfizer delivered this year are you saying that the remaining 30 million the uk ordered will not arrive until some time in 2022? Or have I misunderstood.
