His gear and shoes look to be in good condition. So probably not homeless. Which makes it or perhaps him a bit more strange. My guess is he's suffering from some form of mental illness. Hope he's o.k.
It was taking him quite awhile if that's the case. One does certainly wonder what the case was. He wasn't out there this morning. Well, I guess he could have been but if he didn't have his shirt pulled up over his head I wouldn't have recognized him.
I saw this strange but also somehow strangely comforting sight on a house on my morning route walk today. This angel was posted on one of the windows near the front door. Perhaps she's a COVD-era guardian angel??
No not at all. I’m not sure who’s responsible, and there’s a few similar ones around the village. I’ve seen them done around Harvest Festival time before but I’m not sure why they’ve turned up recently. Maybe the yokels have been bored during lockdown. Funny thing about Spongebob (or maybe not) is that it’s sat outside the funeral directors
Yes, I'm still out for long walks in the morning and still seeing some, if not strange, at least unique sights. This first sight made me laugh since we're living in a desert that averages about 12 inches of rain a year. And this year to date we've gotten about 2 1/2 inches which is down from normal. But these folks down the path from our house that have this boat parked in their yard either took a wrong turn on their way to somplace with a lake or they are very hopeful that we'll get a lot of rain soon. This young fella was happy to slow down and give me a big smile so I could snap his photo. If "four wheels move the body but two wheels move the soul", what does one wheel move??
I saw this little (more like minuscule) "library" while out on my walk yesterday morning. It's not really strange, more like clever and creative. I may have to dig out a book I've finished with and take it with me on the same route to do a swap.
Sandi asked, If "four wheels move the body but two wheels move the soul", what does one wheel move?? One's nards if he isn't careful.
Invasive species Well you know what these Americans are like ....they come over here for the squirrels annual GMU and they end up staying and taking over Apparently the human equivalent is planning a similar invasion for next year We’d better all be on our guard and be ready to repel them
Well, dilli, depending on what things are like in the U.S. next year at this time, Mr. Sandi and I may well end up staying after we attend GMU. But don't worry, we've no desire to take over. More like retire and ride every day--even in the rain.
And don't forget these mate, otherwise known as North American Crayfish. https://insideecology.com/2017/09/27/invasive-non-native-species-uk-signal-crayfish/
