Strange Electrical Problem

    Hi All,

    I have a 2016 T120 Black. Great bike. I have started to get an electrical fault. It started with the heated grips with a H9R off reading, then the indicators only work now and again. Now the dash lights and display go out when i indicate. The display drops all data apart from the milage. I have checked lots of cable connections and earth points but still and lost. I am hope for some pearls of wisdom.

    Sounds like some metal fatigue or chafing somewhere.

    Wiring problem around the headstock. The constant movement of the bars breaks wires.

    Search 'Headstock wiring'

    Charge the battery fully and then put a load test on it. You have a battery going bad if all grounds are good. Look up Van Blamm on you tube your issue sounds very similar.

    Hi All,
    Thank you so much for all the help. I have checked the earths and battery, all good. I moved the wires around the neck and it is the problem. I just have to try to find which one. I am taking it to Triumph next week for them to have a play. Your help has been amazing, Thank you.
