They will by nature out shoot, out maneuver, and thoroughly school you standing on their heads all day long on their worst day. And they've maintained these skills since well before 1842 when they spanked you guys in Kabul. Methinks some of you watch too much TV.

But we digress. Good to see OP got his bike back.

    Or 2021…

Edit: They didn’t need them to get the West out who were there protecting the Afghan citizens and trying to encourage democracy and rule of law. A political fool unfortunately managed that all on their own and undid years of progress damning the country to systematic abuse from the unelected beardy wonders. Leaving billions of dollars worth of arms, supplies and vehicles, and abandoning people now being murdered for their brave support of freedom. But I’m sure you know that.
Not sure how that fool can come to terms with the responsibility for being the cause of others’ misery and suffering.

To make the discussion a bit circular, I think the Irish were pretty influential at handing out spankings in the American revolution.
    • On April 2, 1784, Luke Gardiner, afterward Lord Mountjoy, told the English Parliament, “America was lost by Irish emigrants … I am assured from the best authority, the major part of the American Army was composed of Irish and that the Irish language was as commonly spoken in the American ranks as English, I am also informed it was their valor that determined the contest …

There weren't many Irish in Kabul, those that were were in the British ranks.

    Read before you post.

Hey I tried to get us back on thread...

The armchair generals weren't having it.

So, I heard today that, unfortunately, the Scrambler is "beyond economical repair" due mainly to it requiring a new frame plus numerous other parts, both functional and cosmetic plus the resulting labour charges. I'm now waiting to hear what value the insurance Co. put on it and what payout to expect. Hopefully it won't be too long.

Sorry to hear, pity it wasn't nicked in ireland, knee capping is a strong deterrent.

"Mr Byronic" hasn't grasped the concept of piss take yet has he? Never mind, at least one person takes him seriously.
