Ok..I've fitted a new starter relay to my 900 Trophy after some help with the wiring from some of the forum members here...i'm assuming i'm correct in removing the solenoid fuse carrier from the old one and putting it on the new one...However the bike still won't start...i'm not even getting a click from the solenoid now as I was before when the old one expired....I recall when I was trying to start the bike with the old relay there was a light screeching sound coming from somewhere on the bike ..just for a few seconds then there was just a clicking sound coming from the solenoid after it stopped trying to turn the motor over...now as I said i'm not even getting that clicking noise from the new solenoid...(If that all makes sense)..very perplexed on what is causing my problem...all the other electrics work fine on the bike...An ideas??

Check the fuse by fitting a new one,
if its a blade type they can crack where its hard to see.

    Is your battery definitely good?
Is the engine and frame earthed properly?
